Thanks for posting that, absolutely gorgeous stunning watch.
Another recommendation for Nomos. If you like the styling and the lugs I think you get a great watch for the money, particularly if having an in house movement is important to you (it is to me and I...
Me too but it is always fun to spend someone else’s money
GavinD - I will try some photos over the weekend but it will be a first for me
Camulos- Nomos are known for wearing much larger than their size due to the lug length
Have worn the watch...
I think it is watch rolls or a watch roll but not a watch rolls
Afraid I don’t own any watch rolls, but there are some made by Farer with some external dimensions which hold three watches in case that is any help

Mine is safely here.
First impressions are very positive, really like the colour of the dial and the hands. It wears much smaller for its 40mm than my Nomos Ludwig and is much more chunky. Not...
I am eagerly expecting Bluebird #58 tomorrow.
If the quality is as good as I am hoping then son will be getting a Vulcan for his birthday next year.
Lovely classic watch at just the right size, glad you are now happy with it and it is looking great.
Lovely watch, out of all the Glashutte manufactures MG is the one I know the least about. Thanks for sparking my interest.

Rather than resurrect that thread...
Another thanks, it reminded me of our visit there in 2012 when we visited the Nomos factory and their observatory at the very top of the hill. We were treated very well and enjoyed a visit to their...
I like that, love the colour and the size along with the wonderful movement
Thanks, I have come across their website whilst browsing but it is great to have a recommendation.
Hope you like it, I think they are amazing and hope to have one someday. Any chance of a link to the specialist you got it from?
Agree, shame it has grown. I have a, most probably, 90s Elite manual wind which is pleasing thin. When I was working I always wore a thin watch to fit nicely under cuffs, it is what a dress watch...
Lovely job on an interesting watch. I like the bull head design.
Hope this one manages to build happy memories for you. Both lovely watches and absolutely the right size.
I think that is how a watch is supposed to look on a wrist, says he currently wearing a 35mm Nomos
Very clean clear dial, name new to me so had a look and wasn’t expecting it coming from New Zealand.
Very nice package there sir. I prefer non dates, although I do own a couple with dates, and really like the dial. Since lurking on the forum it has been interesting to come across interesting...
I think they are wonderful and an appreciable part of the appreciation on the watch
Many thanks for the very interesting link, really enjoyed the read and love the Borgel.
Does that make the mk1 dial a “flat 1”
Thank you, I find this a fascinating subject; most especially the Mallory information.
As an aside discussions here...
