Alfa Romeos were the gateway drug for me. I had a 1976 Giulia Coupe for about 3 years in the ‘90s and loved it to bits. It was pretty reliable, very well engineered apart from the rust which a...
Lame joke. I noticed the paper floormat and it reminded me of the numerous 'AD removed the stickers off my Rolex' threads. Hope you enjoy the car, a friend had one for quite a few years and was very...
Good to see that the dealer left the stickers on for you as well.
Maybe understandable, but even Italian manufacturing methods have moved on since the Integrale. Go on, treat yourself :) That new Giulia looks great.
I made the transition from TVR to Maserati as well, I'm sure you'll miss the Tuscan and enjoy the Quattroporte. At least tell us the colour [emoji83]
Excellent colour choice :)
Thanks, you're a gent. :)
That looks fantastic. Mine was a 2000GTV (despite the picture I posted being the slightly earlier one like yours I think).
If the suspension bushes are shot I bet you'll notice quite a difference...
Haha, that would be me. Actually nowhere near, maybe 10000 miles in the 3 years I owned it. It never broke down but even then it was about 25 years old so the usual succession of 'little' jobs - hub...
Fair point.
I like that Lotus, let's see a bit more.
Here's one I used to have, don't have a pic of my own to hand.

As for your comments about a diesel car not being a real Maserati, I do find that genuinely puzzling. Obviously I can't see why you would come on a thread like this to criticise someone else's car....
Cheers. I've got a bit of a history in that respect. I've never owned a Porsche, BMW, Audi, Mercedes etc. although I've driven examples of all, often on a track, and thought some of them were great....
Good point, I jumped in a bit quickly there. But still got an open mind about diesels given their recent history at Le Mans and elsewhere.
Having watched a diesel hybrid win Le Mans this year I've probably got a bit more of an open mind about diesels.
But certainly very different from a 3200 GT.
It's a lovely looking car as well. Does it drive like the GT?
About a year. It was pretty cosseted by the previous owner, not exactly low mileage but very carefully maintained. I had the dealer fit a new clutch and a few other bits as part of the deal. Overall...
Ah, lovely. And cunningly on page 128 if you are using Tapatalk :).
Have you still got it? Any mods? The coupes are great, and probably a better car overall than the Spyder, but I'm a sucker for...
Yes, a Maserati Spyder.
I'm sure the Bremont Jaguar tribute is very much nicer than some of the Maserati branded watches that have appeared from time to time.
I give you the Bvlgari Octo...
Some lovely cars on this thread.
Just got this back from an unnecessarily lengthy service. It's the picture the dealer had up when I bought it, haven't done better myself yet.

Very nice, inside and out.
From another who prefers no roof, if the rain is getting in, you just aren't driving fast enough. [emoji3]
