A very lame attempt at building a little suspension :)
Agreed. The modern Rolex boxes are not much to write home about either.

New arrival yesterday. One that I've somehow never owned until now.

I saw the email earlier and all three were still available when I got round to taking a look - was surprised they lasted as long as they did. This was my favourite of the three, but at 41.5mm a bit...
It's nothing fancy. Probably best described as utilitarian.

Lol :)
A nice touch I thought. I'm not sure I'd be able to re-fold it..

Indeed :)
A couple of quick & dirty pics as I'm just on my way out:

I tried one of those white dial Seamasters at the weekend. Very nice indeed.
This arrived today. Had convinced myself since release that even at 41mm it would wear too large, but kept coming back...
I really like that. Something a bit different.
I'll not quote the pic again, but congrats. Would be interested to hear your thoughts comparing the two case sizes.
Also your experience re: AD availability; wait lists etc. PM if you'd prefer.
Are you absolutely sure? I mean, it's got the textured grip, the minute markings..!
The second batch of Hodinkee travel clocks have just been released..?
That's rather interesting Dave. I should have qualified my comment by saying 'alleged' barn find as it did sound a bit too good to be true, but nevertheless a bit odd they'd make a claim that could...
It's from A Collected Man.
Thanks for the comments. It was inspired by Zenith's barn find PVD prototype they uncovered recently, but using the case shape of the vintage A384.
Funnily enough I bought this as a...
Fiirst new incoming for a while arrived today.

Great pic!
Yeah, not for the feint-hearted! Reminded me of bamboo which I know’s the idea behind the green hands on yours.
I wish they’d done a unique strap for each of the other Seasons models too. Just...
That’s more like it..
It'd be a bold look for sure, but I'd love to see that on something like this:

Well done mate, can't wait to see what you do strap-wise :)
Thanks Nev. It’s 39mm / 19mm lugs. Quite pebble-like with its smooth surfaces and gently domed sapphire. The strap’s a 20mm that I managed to squeeze on.
That made me chuckle, because it rings true. When I was waiting for my Winter GS to turn up I started to have doubts, thinking it might look - if not effeminate, then perhaps just too delicate...
Totally agree. I took a look at a snowflake just after Chisholm Hunter in Bluewater first began selling GS, so a fair while after the hype of them had spread. Whilst I thought the dial was every bit...
