Nice, I like that a lot. There aren't enough Squales without date, the removal of the date makes the dial so much more appealing. Touch of Aquastar with the quarter indices?

I spent quite a while thinking I would try and locate one of the DLC full lume versions of the vortex, I would be interested to hear your ownership observations
Never seen any genuine owner feedback on one of these, I would be interested in further thoughts once you've had it a while.
It looks fairly big, and the amount that the first link of the bracelet...
I like their stuff very much, it has an air of genuine originality whilst clearly tipping a hat to vintage sensibilities. But I have always thought that the absence of anything under the 12 on the...
Very nice, indeed. I have been on the lookout for a PVD 142 for ages now. In fact I bought one from a Japanese Ebay Auction, but they cancelled the sale as they said the watch had developed a fault...
Got this the other day

Given that the kickstarter for this was in late October/November, I am very impressed it was already arrived.
I am also...
Yes and yes.
I was very tempted by those, can you give us any more thoughts on how you find it?
It seems like a really lovely mix of modernity, Rolex and Omega Seamaster 300 features, only the dial essay puts me...
That looks very cool, even the date wheel looks like it is lumed.
However, I am a little surprised that the bezel isn't?
Nice, I think the EZM2 looks at its best with the black bezel
Very nce Ben, a racing dial is about the only thing that would tempt me out of Speedie retirement, and the flatlink suits it very nicely.

Handset and Numerals also improved, I think, although I would always prefer to see white hands on a black dial, the black ones seem to shrink the hands a little
I've been looking at those (and the different colours of them) for a while, that's a very nice price now.
Do they claim any treatment for the Titanium - I found Duratect (in the past) was almost...
I saw that, great pick up.

ps - the Speedie 125 uses a Lemania 1340 derived movement, totally different to the 5100.
That is a full hour and 20 minutes before midnight, and the date change is already half way there. Does that happen all the time? I hope not

Give me a chance, I've only just got it.
They are still available, new......

Thank you. It only comes with the bracelet (which looks very nice, but is not for me) so I put it straight onto a Watchgecko strap I bought heavily discounted on their Ebay listings a week or two...
As earlier, this week saw the arrival of the alkin Model 2, a 300m WR internal-bezel diver from the Bristol-based brand. Here is my one, the black dialled version, received on Weds.

I went for the black one (no photos yet, I got it when I returned from the workshop this evening)
It is defeinitely a step up from the model 1 (which I also have). I really like it.

Here is a bit of a catch-all "New Arrivals" photo, all got (or got back afer work) relatively recently. They are all a bit smaller than many in my collection, which is a good thing.

It is a lovely watch but that bit about finidng a prototype is baloney put out by the Zenith PR department.
As I commented on another article elsewhere -
The original black PVD chronograph you...
Indeed, here he is in orbit wearing it

Yup, bang on. And 47.5mm across including the crown and 49.5mm lug to lug. My wrist is 7 1/4", relatively flat.

Fair enough
That'll be two, Flade and Furrer wore them.
And I was advocating the model, not the acutal example, as I suspect you know.
The point is that the Lemania 5100 was chosen and used for...
