Thank you, I thought I was exercising some proper will power too, but then. . .
So you did better than I did, Tony!

Quite taken with this. Nice size at 39mm (10.8mm thick). Dressy. Sporty. 200m water resistance. Superb bracelet.
Thanks to those who shared their ownership experiences before I committed.

How does this wear compared to the Chronomaster Sport, Tony? Does it wear smaller?
Cheers
Early 1970s Seamaster…

I really do like that. The detail on the subdials looks beautiful in the photographs I’ve seen.
Am I right in thinking that the chrono-seconds hand does one full circle of the dial per second?
Don’t see many vintage dress watches on here these days, but after foolishly selling my one of these back in 2006, I finally found another one good enough to find its way into the collection.
A...
I’ve been eyeing these for a while now. Lovely thing.
That’s kind, thank you. Yes it’s the 2255 second from right. A personal favourite of mine but the less popular model for most people it seems.
Enjoy the 2538 when you get it back, I bet you’ll be...
Spare a thought for family members left behind....
(and enjoy it!)

My latest arrival, but it’s just a bezel insert. A ‘fat-font’ for the 16750.

Evidently I can’t!
Hard to tell from the pic, but looks like a rectangle dial.
Very nice indeed.
Only just spotted this!
To be honest, I don’t mind the snowflake hands and don’t really have any kind of preference between these and the mercedes hand sets.
Interestingly, most of this...
Thanks Rusty, and no problem, I’ll make a note! [emoji1303]
It’s arrived.
The blue of the dial and the bezel insert varies hugely depending on lighting conditions. I’m very happy with it.

This one should be with me within the hour. A Tudor Submariner 76100 blue from 1984.

It’s been a long time coming, but this little beauty arrived with me this morning.
It’s an 18ct Seamaster De Ville from 1963.
I’m delighted with the condition: nice sharp edges to the case and...
Delighted with this JLC Master Hometime - it could well be getting preference over my Aqua Terra.
Very simple and elegant, but significant with its 40mm size. Reasonably well decorated in-house...
