We haven't seen their casebacks yet. ;-) I'd say the Alpinist DNA is there nevertheless and you'd have to try hard not to draw a connection.

It's a good-looking watch, all in all. Appears more vivid than the white/silver one, but I still think gilt is not for me (the reason why I haven't got SARB017 for all these years in the first...

There are real-life photos of the white+silver one posted on WUS, eg here. Looks legible enough for me, but that cyclops is really unnecessary.
