Oh I'm sure you have. You mention them all the time after all.

Oh I'm sure you have. You mention them all the time after all.
Because I wonder if some people ever buy watches, regardless of brand or price. Seems some just like to run down others choices all the time, and seldom have anything to say about their own watches....
Wonder what you will risk then. Do let us know.
Let me know when you buy a San Martin and post some pics. In fact let me know when you actually buy a watch and post some pics.
Spot on. As usual.

Oh hi, thought you'd left us.
Was still wondering about what I asked you earlier.
Are you ok?
Did you ever mention the terrible 1-2 second and 3-4 second timekeeping on the 8 Rolex you bought in the last 4 years before? Just wondering if it's something that you only realised was happening...
I'll remember that when I'm wearing one of mine. :eagerness:

Presumably ‘fanboy’ is some kind of Rolex insult. Am I asking too many questions perhaps?
So you bought 8 in the last 4 years with the 3231 movement which you said were losing between 1-2 and 3-4...
I’m not going to. Like I said, I don’t live on an industrial estate so don’t see why I should.
You didn’t answer my question. You said…
“The Explorers all ran 2-3 seconds slow from new, so expected to get worse. Sold very shortly after purchase.
The rest also ran slow, but not on the...
I have many watches, mostly mechanical, some quartz, and I couldn’t tell you how many seconds fast or slow any of them are.
They tell the time close enough for me so all is good.
I am interested...
So have you have had watches since that run better than 2-3 and 3-4 seconds I presume? San Martin perhaps, or other brands? Did you keep them running for a long time 'in the box' running at 3-4...
How many of the 11 did you have problems with? You said bad luck 10-11 times?
Since they fixed it was it so bad?
Wow, 10-11 Rolexes.
Again, hardly the same as someone taking their lorry home with them and parking it on a residential street 3 or 4 times a week. I'm sure you wouldn't want someone parking an HGV outside your house.
Nope. It should be facing with the flow of traffic and have lights on it. If a car was to hit it whilst not parked in accordance with the Highway Code it might not go down well.
The Highway Code....
I think any Heavy Goods Vehicle that is subject to an operators licence must be kept at the registered address, stated on the licence as its registered base, when not out working. I don't think...

What difference would more parking in the borough make if he’s not using the parking already available outside the village?
He’s only 29 miles from his operating base as well.
Nobody seemed that concerned about them while their wages were being cut by ‘competition’.
I don’t think parking and toilet facilities for HGVs would be a priority for a small village not on any...
The company he drives for have an operating base on their operators license which is 29 miles away. Hardly necessary for an ‘overnight’ job surely.
There are plenty of lay-bys in the area outside...
Jim Dale, meteorologist extraordinaire, says we’ll have a heatwave in April.
So probably be tomorrow then.
