I meant that the triangular indicators were blue filled while those on the reissue aren't.

Thanks, but on seeing it and the price, I'll pass. A monochrome screen dulls it down too much for me. :(
Inside info. Sweet!
Thank you.
Very nice indeed. I've always wanted to try one of those.
I was mucking about in my photo editor, for this week's Friday Thread, and somehow managed to create a GW-5000 snowflake. I have no idea how I did it but I quite like the end result.

Now that is special. I really like mine apart from the carbon fibre strap which while looking good, is rather inflexible.
Very nice!
So quicker from Japan than Belgium! :) Hopefully though, no tax hit as this was ordered via a UK site and with UK VAT paid.
They are blinding watches though!
I have seen it on a couple of UK websites, although they are chains with European distribution, including Ormoda from whom I bought, in Antwerp.

Indeed and with the Fench days showing! [emoji632]
I sold off a few of my little used squares, to cover most of the cost of getting one. Mine came over from Belgium [emoji1045]as UK stocks were...

When U know, U know. ;)
My post-covid treat to myself, an updated GW-5000. having the new features really improves the watch. Perfect!
Nice! I've always liked the idea of a DW5600 bumped up by solar and atomic, while retaining the appearance of a standard DW5600. Of course Casio don't make such a thing and yours is the nearest. But...
Try not to laugh, I couldn't. I spotted this G-Shock from Japan on Instagram.
Would it surprise anyone to know that both the strap and bezel are homemade?

They definitely have the white LED backlight, and they look excellent. After having loads of new GW-5000s throughout the years, I've ended up with a well used second-hand model, which I tarted up...
I was pleased to see that Casio have released an upgraded line up of many of their classic, square G-Shocks. The reference numbers remain the same but now feature a U for upgraded.
Here is a list...
Definitely the best square G-Shock there is, possibly the best G of all.
I think it's a genuine item. Although I just tried the website in Vietnam and it didn't load.
Here's the details from the IG post and translation by Google :)

If you really like a square G - as seen on IG. :)

Nice to see one again. My mudman, was the most accurate non atomic quartz I've ever owned. It gained about a second each two months. Foolishly I sold it. I remember the buttons being very firm to...
I could not justify spending what these cost, but I would like to be able to do so. Great design, functionality and materials. :eagerness:
Respect!
Thanks for that, you've inspired me, as I have a small metal trip that will work.
Cheers!
Hi Nono, please tell us more about your sync bar!
Most of my atomics sync on my bedside table, which is away from the window, except my GW-S5600 and occasionally my 5000.
I know that having a...
A superb mod there!! And when the question is pos OR neg display, the answer is always positive. ;)
Love it.
That's nice too! Excellent looking strap also.
