Great photo Dave, looks fabulous
Thought I would show a few Seiko's I have had but sold on (to most of the TZ collective). A little bit different than the usual fair.

This arrived yesterday. About 8-9 years after first seeing one and lusting after it, can now finally have that satisfaction of it being on my wrist. Cheers to Walt for making it happen.

My favourite vintage Seiko chrono, the 6138-3002.
Measuring 42.4mm without the crown is a great size for my wrist with a stepped minute marker giving some depth to the dial, applied Seiko logo and...
A photo of my gold pair of 6139's; One from 1974 (6139-6012) left, the other 1972 (6139-6015) right. There are subtle differences between the two.

Newly arrived from the USA, the Seiko Golden 6309 re-issue (SRPC44).
The case gold colour is very warm in tone, really chuffed with it.

Recent 7009 pick-up, love these vibrant blue dialled Seiko's (not original bracelet, found it in my parts drawer, but suits it well) case still has crisp edges (1979)

A Seiko SUS I bought in Japan a couple of weeks ago, quartz 7n21 from 1995: 35mm not including the crown.

It is bigger Diameter is 49mm compared to the solar at 47mm and thickness is a big difference 16mm to 12mm, but the SBBN040 is in a different league.

0008 arrived today, everything I expected, the strap is super comfortable, it isn't the soft dust magnet or the rigid type, well done Seiko.

Here is a video which got me wanting this - The colour in the video is true reflection...
This a cracking piece, many thanks to Chris: Getting rid of the 'Solar' and 'X' from the dial would make it near perfect
