Wanted one of these for ages. Had the 43mm Zenith Chronometro Tipo CP2 in both steel and bronze. Steel one is just right I think but the bronze cased version wears too small - for me at least I found...
Absolutely gorgeous. Had my eye on that one but needed to shift the PAM514 first.
Over the moon with this new arrival - I think it's had several previous forum owners and a Zenith was an obvious omission since I sold the bronze Chronometro Tipo CP2 flyback ... this wears...
I must say I like that. One for the wish list.
My first Panerai in about 15 years - 514:

And found this ammo-style 26mm strap in the box from all those years ago:

So wish they did this dial in the 42mm 358. The 38mm 356 is just too much of a tiddler! Gorgeous though.
Quite a moment today ... you could say this IWC Der Doppelchronograph 3713 is a Grail piece as I've lusted after it since the late 90s (when I first became aware of it) yet never quite managed to bag...
New incoming from David. Prompted me to do a bit of research into Tunas, catching up on the evolution ... it's 20 years or thereabouts since I had a proper quartz Tuna (SBBN007) and it seems while...
The indeces are very slightly raised (the thickness of a few layers of paint, and rounded rather than flat, if a long way short of the proverbial Panerai sausage).
However the effect looking at...
Been pondering this model for a while, and it's finally here ... Ulysse Nardin Marine Torpilleur Military ... can't get it to photograph the way it wears ... the delicate, eggshell-colour dial is...
Oooh I like that! Had an old Lemania powered Sinn 142 20+ years ago, wore it on one very memorable lengthy stay in New Zealand, but to be honest I think the new ones are probably better watches.
Nice. Red bezel on bronze works really well.
Love it, have a soft spot for Anonimo, come close to pulling the trigger on one a few times but strangely never owned one.
Absolutely gorgeous! Congrats.
On the chronograph theme this came in today, Zinex Flightmaster bought in the summer as 'NOS needing service' which it's just had, courtesy of Duncan.
Running sweetly now and keeping great time....
Bit slow posting this but since its arrival a couple of weeks back, it's never left my wrist - it seems to me to be something close to the perfect watch.
I had the original Zenith Chronometro...
Awesome. My blue one sez hi ...

Awesome thanks, some nice ideas there. What's the strap on the right in the above?
Hmm brown does look good.
I was on the Rubber B site tonight they have a green one which looks pretty cool too.
Wanted one of these for a long time - slate dial Tudor Black Bay Bronze.
Came on green Tudor woven strap, which though I'm not really a NATO fan is nice for a fabric strap, but I also squeezed on...

Bit dinky size for me at 41mm but I love it.
Arrived today, 42mm but wears smaller I think. The 21mm lug width bund strap supplied was too small so I stuck it on a Ted Su 21mm custom job made for IWC Big Pilot 43 ... even the Hanhart buckle...
One of the Zinex old stock watches David was selling recently, this via Takethecannoli ... wears fairly well for 47mm, I think because the lugs are relatively short.
Has a strange fault which...
Always feel embarrased posting here because of the quality of the photography ...
Anyway .. IWC 3706 Fliegerchronograph arrived today ... another one revisited from my past (in my case, about...
Just arrived courtesy of Onelasttime - Tutima 1941.
I was worried about this - 38.7mm is not a big watch, in objective terms, but it looks pretty cool on the wrist ...
Nice on the Pav cordovan...
