I didn’t hesitate when I saw it even though I already have a couple of 7C43’s but this was too nice to pass up and David’s watches are always top notch

Wow what a find, a NOS 7548!
Would love to add that to my collection and it appears harder to find the SQ version of this and I mostly seem to see the “water resist” versions.

Thanks Mark and I sort of stumbled across it without actually looking for this model. I seem to have been fortunate lately picking this up and a lovely 7A28 “Pogue” a few weeks earlier.

Postman delivered this today made in April 1979 and bought from the original owner.
It will be getting a clean shortly as it’s a bit dirty and the bezel is currently stuck but I just love the dial...
Thanks to Paul this lovely 7A28-7030 “Quartz Pogue” is now on my wrist.

They’re very similar indeed really and Seiko did a fantastic job of recreating the original quartz Tuna 40 years later. They made quite a few upgrades for the reissue which include sapphire crystal ,...
I agree that they’re super watches and light and comfortable despite the size due to the design and Titanium case. I was fortunate enough to pick up the original watch it’s based on a couple of years...

That's a cracker Lewie and I have the as far as I can tell identical 700H. Not sure why the letter difference, probably to denote being sold to different countries.
