Gorgeous rare beauties here!
Marvy combo!
Apparently I can't upload a photo from my computer and have it actually show as a photo. This shows a similar regulator configured, I believe, the same as the ETA 2893-2 movement. The rotor, not...
Thank you, yes, that's one of the points I've found in searching - that these don't get turned at all but instead are just pushed one way or the other. I think I'll make a small wooden tool with a...
Figured it out, with your help. Thank you so much for telling me that the amp and rate studs are reversed relative to most movements!
Yes, it's an ETA 2893-2. Is the regulator stud the rectangular-ish brass looking stud near the upper left corner of my bottom photo? What tool do you use to adjust that, if I may?
Here's the villain. Sorry but can't figure out how to show the actual photos.

Is that right, for a "woodpecker" regulator? Well that's both good and bad news. A repairer I'm not. Just a hobbyist so I'll have to take it in for this.
Indeed. But it was like this when I purchased it new in 2015 and the dealer asked me to send it back for a simple timing adjustment. Didn't want to send it back overseas and there wasn't anybody...
Great to hear, thank you! My case back is a screw on so maybe the architecture is a bit different, but I'll give it a shot. Mine runs 65 to 67 seconds slow!
Yes, from looking through the display back of my Seebataillon it looks like you may have to approach it from an angle. Unless you remove the movement. Did you find out the screwdriver size for the 2...
How did this go for you? I'll be attempting the same job.
The cases are markedly different, including the dimensions. I would insert images but it seems only tiny files are allowed.
I'm also a fan and collector of vintage watches and have a fair amount of blue ones. It's hard to get that color right and, imo, they did a good job here. I'm not into very flashy watches and was...
What happened to all the photos?
He's just finished servicing a Tutima F3 for me, with the Lemania 5100. I know he has at least 12 different lubricants he uses, 9 of which he used on this watch. And he'll only use Moebius 9010...
Lots of good info here. My watch guy, and Omega specialist, refers to the Lemania 5100 movement problem discussed here as "helicoptering". It's fairly common for the 5100 to do this and it's purely a...
Is the Tutima a production model? Was that a custom creation through Tutuma?
I haven't investigated Russian watches but that Sekonda's a looker. What's the perlon on it?
Since this was nearly 3 years ago I'm sure you've sorted this long ago and found that NeilC. was correct in saying that the movement was paired with the wrong dial. But contrary to what been said,...
Wow, so many really special pieces!
A newbie faux pas on my first post. Guess that's why I couldn't PM him. I saw the "banned" but thought I saw in his profile that he had some activity as recent as today.
No matter as you've...
Hi fellow watch lovers, so for my first post here (sure we've spoken elsewhere) why not unearth an old thread? Europa, did you ever do this or determine if anything else was required to add the day...
