On episode 2, and fully agree.
Remember the Lock Stock TV series? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lock,_Stock...
I'm loving Shogun, but can't escape the thought that Blackthorne is Tom Hardy playing Boris Johnson .
Just watched the first two episodes of Shogun on Disney+ - fantastic, and as good as everyone has been hoping. There's a lot of spoken Japanese with subtitles, so you have to commit to watching...

I'm halfway through episode 5 and am enjoying it. Just had the rather shocking realization that Polly is played by Greta Scacchi.
Not new, and not available to stream afaik, but I've just finished watching an old recording of Edge Of Darkness. Still brilliant nearly 40 years(!) later. Curiously my taste in women seems to have...
Earth on BBC. As stunning as you'd expect a BBC natural history series to be, and Chris Packham is shaping up to be a credible successor to David Attenborough.

'The Gold' on BBC is off to a promising start, though I'm not happy with Kenny Noye's portrayal (so far) as some sort of lovable rogue. And the male copper reminds me of Manuel.
...
Oh. Animal Kingdom isn't a wildlife programme then?
I'm also enjoying this. Laura Haddock has, er, grown up a bit.

Three Pines on Amazon. Good old fashioned 2 hour murder mysteries. Alfred Molina is excellent, as usual.
I found Outer Range on Amazon was very watchable. Cowboy sci-fi, and not too heavy on the sci-fi. The story isn't resolved at the end of the season.
Same here. I have also watched the first two episodes, and have mostly kept up with it, though I didn't quite get what a peripheral is, or how it would protect Flynne. I wondered if Christopher Nolan...
Tour Guide sang the old Jackie Wilson song, Reet Petite.
The Old Man on Disney+ is good. In the vein of Bourne, John Wicke and Nobody, and breaks absolutely no new ground.
It's really good, isn't it?
Really enjoying this as well, and there's some great humour in there also.
This Is Going to Hurt on BBC. Comedy drama about an obstetrics registrar. First episode was very promising, with some genuinely funny comedy and challenging drama.
Cheaters on BBC. Comedy that...
Reacher is out on Amazon now. Only 10 minutes in, but top notch so far.
