  1. Here's another one to divide opinion - Bremont Solo

I'm not starting an argument, your watches state Great Britain where the country of origin are normally placed and I merely asked why given the stance you've already taken. I haven't stated that...
  2. Here's another one to divide opinion - Bremont Solo

I like the sentiment, but why mark your watches as 'Great Britain' in the same place as most companies place the country of a manufacture then?

Also, by your own logic your watches aren't made in...

    Some possibilities for the future

Have you created a company to run the Sewills business then (or perhaps Timefactors is trading as Sewills watch company)?

Would another company not simply outsource to Germany or Switzerland like...

    OMEGA COSC Certificate?

Got mine today, interesting how they denote the 2009 8500 as the 8500a. Makes sense given the Si-14 mainspring and hairsprings used now.
  6. Oh no, what have I done? How will I tell the wife?

    ROTFL!

A seriously nice watch Walter, how does it wear compared to the Sinn 757?

Bremont watches - are they worth the price.

The 40% is standard for any AD, I don't know this is the markup for Bremont. Regarding DIN, Damaskos were never certified to anything, although they are regulated.

    What's going on with SC?

Sad you think like that as I've bought a few fairly priced watches through that route.

Check the Damasko website regarding their view of the Sinn techniques. Sinns are great watches, with many useful technical tweaks, and older Damaskos are worth it as well.

    Personally, I've looked...

    Cheers,

I didn't mean that the 2541 was demanding more money than the 2221, i meant that for a much improved watch that the 2221 isn't that much more.

Indeed, personally the DA46/7 is a worthwhile alternative to the MB2. I still have the MB2, as I identify with the brand and the UK manufacture, but would buy another Damasko at some point.
