Rubber NATO works well on these although I can imagine that flap of strap end might be a deal breaker for some!

Comfort is similar to other bracelet clasps. I’d say not as comfortable as a regular MN though which are pretty wearable.
Clasp size suffers from the strap not tapering and me having small wrists!...

Ah, my mistake. I thought the no-go comment related to the octopod straps but I wasn’t reading the thread carefully enough.
How come not suitable? I’ve bought some for other watches but have my eye on an FXD in future so curious.
Dug out my old Kemmner Turtle which hadn’t seen the light of day for years and stuck it on a MN style strap. Works well. Still can believe this was under £300 new.

857 UTC on Watchgeko Zuludiver rubber nato. Brushed hardware is a good match to the case and slightly matt finish on the strap works well with the dial. Smells nice too.
