After a few years(!) searching - I finally found the GS rubber dive strap of legend.
Made mostly of unobtainium, plus some silicon rubber, with the same brushed and polished Ti clasp as the watch...

A trouser-matching NATO from… I forget. One of the American suppliers. The Watch Steward or something.
Lovely quality, but NOT the perfect combo.
To be honest, I am really after the perfect rubber...

Put this on as a temp measure whilst the PCLs are polished out of the bracelet.

Nice that. I’m getting right into the old canvas straps at the moment.

(Anyone advise on cleaning them, btw? I have a leather-backed one so can’t just washing machine it!)

I actually bought the nato as a bit of a joke/practical cheap strap as am in hotter climes and sweating through the lovely standard strap… but turns out the colour scheme is excellent, far better...
