I am not sure if he has anything other than 20mm, and it does seem to be a standard for the the Rolex sport models. Did you see the Kangaroo tail in black? I still would like to try one of these. ...
Good point, I am primarily in the vintage world, so the smaller watches seem to be fine to me.
Nice congrats on the clock. I have avoided this clock because of it's reputation for being so delicate. I was interested to see someone posted about the locking for transport. Good luck and...
Agreed, I have a slim wrist, but before the family got bigger and we had a crying baby at home I lifted weights more. Now I just lift dirty diapers so my forearms have slimmed down a bit, I am...
Not to give away all the trade secrets, but I bought a preowned JLC in the past registered it under their club and got all kinds of freebies. Well worth it! When I went on to flip (mainly cuz I...
x2...thats common practice.... good luck with the sale.
I bought a watch pillow as a replacement for a tudor sub box missing its pillow and in doing so, i went unoriginal (it was impossible to find just the pillow) and had to buy some cheap one off of...
cool mods. i haven't done this to a seiko or any watch yet. being a tudor/rolex/milwatch collector i am a bit of a purist, but it does seem as though seiko watches have the best mods, and if you...
love them all.. great choices... some more posts and i will be able to see the sales forum. don't buy all of the watches before i get there :eagerness:
horn is the lug! we use that in the US sometimes. also, i would sell. i had an amvox with 0 problems ever. i would get as far away from this watch as possible, maybe give jlc a chance to make...
I agree the crown looks like a replacement, and did anyone answer the OP on what the crystal was supposed to be originally?
love the textured dial and the bracelet on that watch. good choice! I wouldn't dive with it either, but I would proudly wear one!
what about tracking down a dealer with preowned watches, to save some coin?
x2, but something from a recognizable brand with some heritage. Also makes sense if you are a flipper. If you are a keeper just get what you want.
I would buy something else :(
Wow, that JLC is perfect. The IWC is nice too, but I think I am setting my sights on a JLC mk xi next, that one is just perfect, I am not sure I have seen too many in that kind of shape. Great...
Yeah I am fairly certain everyone here has bid against or tried to get the same watch as alphafloor at least once :smug:
x2...enjoy it!
Nice Smiths. I have a Smithsw10 as well. I put mine on a soft/thin black leather nato and it looks great. I was interested to see that the lume on your hands is darkening towards black (mine is...
nice catch, love the patina on the lume.
I would be interested in the answer to this as well, I may be in need of some parts for my RAF Gen 1
I would love to see pics of a band made from hens feet skins, especially in those funky colors. Please do post pics if you go forward with it, good luck!
I would steer clear of any of the silicon bands if it were me, they tend to pick up a ton of lint, just my 2 cents

Good luck with the search!
seems a bit pricey. what about an isofrane for a sportier look, or a maybe a hirsch strap (I haven't tried their rubber straps, but there are some guys on therolexforum that swear buy them).
