I managed to order ok from the OPs link.
I’ve ordered one and it’ll no doubt be too big for me so will see how easy to shorten it and post the results.
Stumbled across this on eBay - bit more expensive but less than the Tudor. Not seen one in person but looks like nato webbing which will be different to the Tudor webbing.

True indeed but a 200 quid strap still only has 10p worth of velcro on it.
It’ll be the fluffy loop side. Get the sewing machine out and sew in a new fluffy bit!

No but they’ve rinsed the moon connection to death and put 007 logos on divers watches, presumably to appeal to 10 year olds so just as tacky.
^^ like that. Definitely want to pick up an early Alt1-P or Z at some point.
Agree about the slightly confusing design direction. The collection was very clear early on then the vintage bandwagon seemed to make them lose focus and try all sorts of things. I love my MB2 but...
There’s an FXD thread with people posting different strap options. Newer posts are more strap related.

No issues, had for a year, wash it though! The only thing I think would need attention over time would be the fuzzy loop part of the Velcro but as per any Velcro. It’s an ideal strap for the watch....

Pushed the boat out this year with the FXD and Explorer II so thought l’d do a one shot to end the year. 2024 likely to be a quiet one.

If British, anything from Pinion take your fancy? There’s Bremont of course though maybe let’s not open that can of worms!
For me, one watch, do anything it would probably be a Sinn.

Their rubber NATO straps were £42 three years ago, now £68. Think they’re Bonetto Cinturini in which case at Watch Obsession £45.

Would rather pay a premium and buy on the second hand market. That’s the watch, that’s the price and no need to grease the palm of an AD while they give you a fake smile, make you an espresso and...
I went blue and wouldn’t swap it for black. Plenty of other black divers, indeed black Pelagos to choose from.
