I'm not sure it's quite so easy to swap acrylic for sapphire or vice versa. Something to do with the thickness of the crystal and the rebate. Mineral glass for acrylic or vice versa might be easier...

I donít think an automatic would fit in the case? Even if it would it wouldnít be ďrightĒ. Thatís why the PRS-29ís are manual wind.

Tbh quartz would make sense than automatic. . .!

The case will be a big ask.

Iirc the smaller Weems (civilian and USAF issue) were 27 or 28mm and the 1940 AM ones were still only maybe 30?

And you'd need to have the locking crown and free...

There are some subtler shades that soften the cold menthol look without going for the full nicotine-stained effect.

This. (T) was an addition to show it had been redialled and wasn't even put on the RAAF ones iirc. There's no need for anything in between 6 and the pinion.

The actual 1940 Air Ministry Weems (locking bezel at 4 o'clock) were quite small (and the earlier Longines ones with the locking bezel at 2 o'clock were even smaller)

Might be wrong about that though.

I do like 36/18 and 40/20 (parallel non-taper strap) but I also like 36 or 38 / 20, esp if the strap or bracelet has a...
