people have done it with toothpaste. Brasso might work obviously a cape cod cloth.

I have read that there are speffific products to remove the verdigris from bronze but never managed to find any...

Th eonly reason I have not 'polished' mine is teh same thought process. I can see the case has some kind blasted finish. i.e its not smooth so I didnt want to polish that away.
