Was a while since I watched the video but doesn´t he state he´s NOT gonna get into the accuracy- performance, cos obvs one is a cheap watch the other´s 20 or 30 times more expensive thus you´d...
I reckon we´ll have to agree to disagree Dave. These are volatile times, plausibly forecast to only worsen thus I think your optimistic, broad assumption isn´t in tune with the current conditions,...
I´m not sure that will hold true in all circumstances, though in fairness that´s about only death and taxes which do...and the latter's more malleable depending.
The dial- package looks kinda well a bit small on you, for a purposeful dive type watch, just to me, and obvs not seeking to influence your, anyone else's view or opinion. Maybe the angles are...
Perhaps assets that have the potential to be turned in to cash, if a buyer can be found, might be a better description. Subject to the usual considerations, timing, market conditions, broader...
From the Fortune linky I posted, the CEO fella from Rolex offers a different opinion, HE is attempting to pour water on the idea a Rolex is an investment,
“I don’t like it when people compare...
I guess it's the 500 quid a year the 10k spent on the watch, that the 10K IS not generating you in interest in a cash ISA..or similar, more or less entirely risk, hassle free and likely accessible...
You're welcome, I'll be interested in your thoughts on the Yema if you decide to get it.
Damn that's a fine looking watch, multi sub dials really not my thing but that's a really handsome'un, appealingly well balanced/ attractive colours.
Appealingly slim and you've a choice of size, which is nice. Not as polished, less shiny having brushed sides, there's a Green dial version of the Baltic Hermetique, similar field watch vibes, 37 mm...
Pretty decent book though imho.
Always on the fence me, gotta be more decisive.:welcoming:
Possibly a bit drafty too, absence of nik naks...
Gotta say you're still not selling it.,'' unpleasant or toxic'', no ta, had me fill.
You made it sound a tawdry, unpleasant, unappealing place to be, in an earlier post tbh, why bother:tranquillity:
''But to be honest, that’s the majority of the luxury watch world they’re all fur...
Nah just a silly sense of fun, humour.
No way?!!!:omg:
ISWYDT.
The classic.
Not my bag as watches, reckon you could do alright though, with the romance, the dream gone...can the watches themselves justify, hold their prices, seems doubtful.
Inspired by someone posting on the thread mentioning a collaboration with Ronnie Wood!!! I looked it up, had to, oh dear, with apologies to all the Bremont afficianados , those in the know...
...
Quite so, silly me.
I know nothing of the football business :tranquillity:
And the glorious failure narrative that's been floated by monkey there, does have a strong British military, historic, cultural/poetic theme ''Forward, the light brigade''...fit's the former BREMONT,...
Written like a man with some skin in the game...Pretty hard to miss their Britishyness, it used to be one of their main USP's after all, the plucky maverick underdog trope, better to try and fail...
One and only, the MIL, upon seeing my 42 mm mostly dial Nivrel Couer de la Sarre ´´finally you wear a watch big enough for ME to read´´, thanks Marge, that´s my purpose in life attained...
Everything copacetic? I´ve barely a dog in this fight, leaving aside that BMW driver, but you do seem to be plausibly making some corn dollies and assumptions of your own over this ún amigo..
