Tough but not unreasonable.
But that said seeing as this seems to be a very, very uncommon failure for a Rolex it does seem to be that most Rolexes are quite tough in regards to the dial feet.

I wondered about this...
PERHAPS if Rolex think someone else has messed with it (maybe caseback witness marks, or even a home refinishing job) then any goodwill they might have had about it...
OP states that the hands still display the correct time, so I think the movement hasn’t twisted only the dial has

Might the questionable photo of the clasp just be the work of some home refinishing?
There are some extremely knowledgeable folks on here, but spotting a fake is probably a lot easier in real life...
