Just a plain cable
A few numbers:
- the European cable says 16A 250V
- the UK cable says 5A 250V
- the adapter says max 6A 100-250 V for AC and max 2500 mA 5VDC
- the monitor's stated power...
My concern is that the adapter I had been using could have provided the wrong voltage or something which would have broken it. But I have no clue how any of this works, so I don't even know if that...
This is the story:
I am leaving my current workplace (I had been working from home from a PC supplied by them) in a couple of weeks. I'm also moving into a different room in the house. Because I...
A couple of weeks ago I bought a new monitor. The monitor worked for a couple of days, then suddenly died. The backlight comes on, but there is no image. I have found three other 'incidents' exactly...
I've just bought one of their Hull Chronograph quartz watches and I have to say I disagree with the review above. The quality is on par or even better than other watches in this price range (I bought...

Although I haven't lived in Sheffield, so can't help much, I have been a couple of times and I really liked it. I think it's the perfect sized city and if I had the opportunity, I wouldn't hesitate...
I don't think I've ever had a positive experience with Parcelforce. Their tracking is useless and the staff, at least at my local depot, should not be in any customer relations position. Top tip...
Bit of an unusual post, but here it goes.
Over the years I've been a member on this forum I've had many arguments with people on here, arguments that often descended into name calling and worse...
Oh my, some of you lack any semblance of common sense.
The 'don't drive to exercise' rule is to stop people invading areas that may be less prepared for huge outbreaks of Covid, like a couple of...
Holy crap, I've never noticed how huge those lugs on the Aquis are. Doesn't really work on a strap IMO.
You can get 24 months interest free through V12 (apply at checkout).
But there is nowehere to leave the card because the entire building will be closed (we don't have a mailbox - everything goes to reception)
The RM wesite only says that it's been accepted into the system on the 3rd of December and more information will be available once a delivery has been attempted.

Ok, after an hour on hold, someone finally picked up my call.
They confirmed that it wouldn't be delivered because the postcode doesn't match the address and said that they would try and return to...
Correct. On every Android phone I've ever had, the photos had been saved under the DCIM folder (there will be further folders in there for Camera, Screenshots, Facebook photos and so on).
You can indeed, if you choose 'Buying & Printing postage' on the 'How can we help you today?' page.
If you choose 'Where's my item', you only get the option to call them.
Thanks
Not really anything to do with my local sorting office...
The story is: I sold something online. The idiot I sold it to gave me the right address but the wrong post code. Tracking hasn't changed...
Does anyone know if you can contact Royal Mail Customer Services in any way other than on the phone?
Not only do you have to listen to 3 minutes of waffle about how great their website is every...
My understanding is that it's not the parachute, it's how much weight the instructor is allowed to handle. I've been wanting to go skydiving for a while now, but I'm still over the limit (15...
