Just to confirm, I contacted Oris about a problem under warranty and they told me to send the watch here.
Hello Akash!
This is beautiful. Gorgeous watch. Gorgeous strap. Can't go wrong.
Great stuff! Increasingly love the Root Beer. Initially dismissed it as being two-tone and, well, brown, but compared to it I think the Batman and Pepsi look almost a bit like toys.
I've no new ones to suggest. My favourite is maybe Bark and Jack but he doesn't get enough access to watches, so he ends up doing too many videos about his channel - it all gets a bit navel gazey.
...
I don't particularly value thinness, as long as a watch is appropriately sized (my regular watch is a 16600, which is fine for a diver), and also find the looks of this a bit off.
I prefer the...
Great collection!
The Overseas is the star, for me. I'd love one but I have skinny wrists and, even if it would just about fit, it's too expensive to make do. Good to see it on the rubber strap!
I don't have any specific suggestions, but a 14060M would look great on most brown or black straps - as long as they're appropriate.
I wouldn't put a more modern diver on a leather strap, but this...
I certainly don't think they're a fashion brand, and admire what they're doing, but, despite hearing again and again how great they are, they just don't do it for me. If I wore a suit regularly then...
I just posted in another thread that a large collection would stress me out.
I feel like there's a difference between collecting and liking watches. I really like watches but I want each that I...
Some big collections here! The thought of 50+ watches makes me feel a bit ill. Far too stressful.
Currently:
- JLC
- Rolex
- Casio (G-Shock)
- Seiko
- Tissot
- Oris
- Braun
Really like the look of these. I'd been considering an EZM 13, so this has confused things! For me, all black on a black rubber strap would be the choice.
Thanks to those posting videos - very...
I've considered the 39.5mm a few times, but it's underwhelmed me when I've tried it on. I still think about it now and then. The blue would make a great summer watch.
Love the white dial OP. Think it may be my favorite current Rolex.
I'm afraid I'm another who's not keen, largely for the same reason. Looks like the strap, dial and case have been cobbled together from spares.
Some of us with >50 can't see them!
Aw. This is my kind of dog.
I live in a flat without proper TV - just streaming. It's great. It's possible to watch normal channels (via iPlayer, etc.) but it encourages me to watch what I want to watch, rather than just...
I've already had a few replies from the hotels/lodges agreeing to waive cancellation fees. I actually feel a bit bad that they'll miss out on, presumably, most of their custom. If they refused to...
Oof. Hope you get it sorted.
Haha!
The black perlon? I was going to say similar. Looks great.
OK! Thanks. I'll be wary in the future - not that I expect to do anything with them.
G-Shock Sea-Dweller combo.
G-Shock to tell the time and Sea-Dweller to barter with once the currency, and society, collapses.
