This model is looking beautiful. When will it be up for order on the website?
I'm @cptslow_swe. Fairly new account but I have a few pics on there.
Nice find. They just keep on digging, don't they?
Even better!
Very nice looking watch! Is that a sapphire/mineral crystal or is it plexiglass?
I'm glad the OP finally got a refund but there certainly is something fishy about that seller. Good thing the original posts could be preserved so they can serve as a warning to future potential...
It is nice but the lug-to-lug measurement is a bit much for me. If you can pull it off just go for it.
It is a homage but I think it falls within the tribute range instead of the ripoff range. Agree about the price but it's still a lot for the money.
What about the Oris Artelier Complication? It's a nice looking watch and it should be within budget, at least if you buy second hand.
I think the watch in the op is nice looking but it certainly is a homage of the Rolex Paul Newman Daytona as pointed out elsewhere in the thread. I think you made the right choice, OP.
I would have a look at Borealis as well. I'm quite tempted by the pre-order price for the new Bull Shark model. No delivery until november though.
Very nice! Those are pretty hard to come by in that kind of condition.
Aerospace is always awesome in my book. That's not really one for the office but what an eye catcher!
The Seiko 6159 is a beauty for sure. Would love to get my hands on one of those. What kind of prices do they fetch?
Very nice. I need to add a Doxa to the collection sooner or later. Very distinctive design and a great heritage.
It's strange. I really like older dive watches so this one being a modern tribute and decently priced should be at the top of my list. But I just can't see myself buying one for some reason. It's...
It has to be my Sea Dweller. It's not my most worn watch at the moment but if I had to sell everything and just keep one watch it'd be this one. Sorry if it's boring but in my eyes it's a stone cold...
Thanks for sharing! A lot of great stuff. I don't know what it is about older dive watches but they are simply awesome. I do have a Tudor Sub as well. It's a 1992 79090 so I think it qualifies for...
Some lovely watches in this thread. Been looking for something similar myself but the eBay prices are pretty much astronomical for the most part.
I searched around and found a couple of older threads but since this is one of my favorite watch types I figured I'd start a new one.
Here's a few that are currently in my watch box:
"Diving"...
The 16610 is a true classic in my book. Last sub before they had to go and make the case all huge and blocky for no reason. Nice catch!
Happy birthday and congratulations on that beautiful watch!
Beautiful watch! Thanks for sharing.
Hope it works out for you, OP. As for the dealer one has to wonder if has considered the damage to his reputation and the effect on future sales? Obviously anyone who has read this thread will think...
