Can anyone suggest a source for short straps?
I bought a Jaques Lemans automatic with a butterfly-shaped "open heart" dial for my teenaged daughter's birthday. Looks a bit like flickering...
Thanks for that, Dave.
Now that Eddie's gone and posted such a low price for the Non-LE Italian, I have to give it serious consideration. As long as it was firmly "out of reach," I didn't have...

Timing is everything. By the time I looked, the only price I was able to find for the LE version...
What is the price for one of Eddie's PRS-20 (non-LE) watches? I've been looking all over the site for it, but must have missed it somehow.
Cheers!

I'm with Martin on this.
The older dials seemed more balanced (glad I snagged an early version :D ), but it's still a nearly sterile dial and looks good.

p.s. Great pics to illustrate...
In the Army, we used to consider these as evidence of the "Big Watch, Little D*@k Syndrome." :D
'Course, it was mostly just spiteful envy... And, it's NOT why I happen to like big watches ...
A year ago, I saw a Rolex Explorer in a department store in Tomokomai, Japan for $2800USD (it was actually in Yen, but that's what it converted to at the exchange rate).
It looked pretty good, but...
I'm interested in the Zeno Beobachtungsuhr, but worried about over-winding a manual-wind watch. I've damaged mechanical movements this way in my youth.
I've read that some hand-wind movements...
Rich,
I already clipped the edges before I read your suggestion. Those raw edges ARE a telltale reminder that the strap has been modified. I think I'll use some beeswax to dress the edges up,...
Thanks for the reassurances that just lopping the old loop off is the way to go. I hadn't done this before, so I was hesitant to take a blade to a finished leather product.
Cheers!

I don't care for the bent-up look regular strap buckles give the leather, so just today had a deployant clasp installed on my leather strap.
I like it, but now that leather (loop intended for...
Chris,
If you figure out a straightforward way to post pics to this site, please share them. I'm still puzzled.
Mal,
Yes, still enjoying the Zeno Pilot's Carre' Chronograph. I'd...
Chris,
I have a Zeno Carre' Case Pilot Chronograph with a VAL/ETA 7750 movement, which I'm very pleased with. The "7750 Wobble" makes it feel a bit "interactive" to wear.
The one you're...
The ZEX has such a vintage look, whether it's on the original bracelet OR on this tan leather strap - and it's so charmingly anachronistic. It's one of the few watches on my "absolutely gotta have...
ZEX is a VERY unofficial slang reference to the Zeno Explorer.
I did not originate the term: I believe that honor belongs to other TZ-UK Forumers.
"yep, the big Zenos are too big for me."
I always used to think the bigger watches would be too big for my 7 1/2" wrists. To get the idea out of my system, I tried a Zeno Oversized Carre' Pilot's...
The Pilot Lady looks like a fine watch for a small wrist. I was going to buy a Lady Speedbird for my daughter, but hesitated - and now they're gone.
The Pilot Lady with black dial,...
Thanks, John.
I guess that explains that. This one works just fine - it just feels odd.
Is this normal?
I used my recently acquired Zeno VAL 7750 Chronograph (Ref. 8600) to time some speakers at a conference, today. Activating the "Start" pusher, I noticed a scrunchy double click...
Thanks, warlok.
That's precisely the view I've been wondering about!
Very nice photo, and shows that the ZEX has a very appropriate-looking bracelet (to my eye, at least).

Worlock,
Nice pics of the new Zeno Explorer. I've been considering one, but wondered what the bracelet's clasp looks like.
Do you happen to have any pictures of the OTHER side of the bracelet?
