Nice job! Could you shine some light on the pre and post amplitude of the balance? Repositioning a pallet stone can have a mayor impact on amplitude.
Just curious how you determined the right...

I would follow Caruso's advise and greas the seal.
If the seal has been reseated correctly and is in good condition there's no reason for the watch to leak (if your not going to dive with it)

I didn't know these sets exist. Have seen them for a 7750 (very expensive).

I have never done it but according to my teacher there is only 1 way to do the job and thats on a lathe.
