The steel case version is a lovely watch.
That's a beautiful watch.
I think the Rolex service is well worth the extra anyway.
Ouch.
The whole waiting list and AD ego polishing business to buy a new watch at present is nonsense. However, owning and wearing any 5 digit sports model is a pleasure. I'm very irritated that I can't get...
It's a very strange ad. I've always found them a bit off anyway with their marketing.
Which is a real shame as they offer such beautiful watches.
Crikey! I thought I was pushing the boundaries with a 3 bar power shower.
I always have. I even used to shower wearing a Speed master.
Anything where a number is chopped by a date window or sub-dial. Drives me nuts.
This is the only watch I've ever regretted selling (not this exact one obviously)
The whole thing is bizarre. I haven't bought a new Rolex for years and can't see that I'll ever bother to do so again if this is how you have to go about it.
Our of interest, how much is cheap? Also, is there any risk of causing damage using a demagnetiser?
It looks great in that photo.
Can I ask how noticeable is the gap between the crown and the case on the 6BB? I fancy one but worry that the gap would irritate me.
I have to say that I'm finding it very odd that anyone would think that an automatic watch which stops whilst being worn could be anything other than faulty. I can do lazy with the best of them and...
I thought it was just me. I think that between the bezel and the maxi dial it just looks too busy (or something).
Omega, Breitling, Panerai
That's exactly what I thought.
Congratulations. They are a great watch. I've had mine for a year now and it's very rarely off my wrist.
That would be my first thought as well.
Date correct, time near enough. The only thing I get fussy about is bezel position. The lume pip needs to be dead on.
And that's what I was wondering about. How much value does it actually add to a watch?
It's a gorgeous watch but I would prefer it with the dial as it's meant to be. As you say though, each to their own.
Actually, that's another question. How does the bezel end up that colour? Is...
Does it actually add enough to the value to make forcing it worthwhile?
