If my memory serves me correctly, Rolex wanted about £500 for an new SS clasp when my Explorer II was in for a service so I could imagine a gold one being pricey.

I had a lovely Legend Diver a few years back and and actually quite regret selling it. It was a really versatile bit of kit too and seemed to work a wide variety of straps... think I might me talking...
