Few of us looking to escape the wives for a week and get a 5-7day golfing holiday in March/April 2019 and looking at Abu Dhabi.
Wondered if anyone has done it and could offer any advice....?
If you want a watch, save up, buy one, enjoy it. In the long term, £500 of value means nothing.
If you have a good enough relationship with your AD, great, you may have to wait but you'll get one...
Thanks for sharing.
Some lovely pieces in there!
Local AD did mine no problem. much more comfortable without it.
I may have to invest in something like this. I guess it does give a piece of mind that I could buy on the way out and know they'll be fine til I get back. Thanks.
same here. I despise...
Going to Mexico in a couple of months and will probably looks to take some duty free cigars home with me. Has anyone bought cigars from Cancun Airport recently? prices? Authenticity?
I've heard...
The barrels are lovely but quite big once you get them inside and you cant store that much.
I got mine from coscto but I just checked and they don't have it anymore.
something like this?...
what you need is a nice cabinet.....
I got the wife's ring from Blue Nile. Designed it myself and was able to get a much bigger/better ring that equivalent I saw in the jeweler's.
Great service all round. would recommend.
That bottle has since been replaced with a full one.
Glengoyne 10yo is a great dram for the money.

Some of the bigger distilleries are so occupied with filtering...
The Lagavulin and Bowmore are great drams. I have tried loads of others but I always go back to those 2. the Bunnahabhain 18yo will be included in my next batch of purchases.
the 17yo is a...

A good action movie but a bad Star Wars Movie.
6/10.
I feel your pain. My Rehaut is a bit squint on my BLNR. Was told it was 'within tolerance'.
Hopefully you get it sorted.
I got married in Vegas (not by Elvis) and it was brilliant. 35 of us went over for a week. wedding on Day 5. Would do it again in a heartbeat, no regrets.
Huge call for anyone to bet on CM but he's proven many people wrong on many occasions.... can he do it again?
Going to be tough for CM to land shots against the best defensive fighter of all time...
Got married and stayed at Mandalay Bay last year. No regrets with our choice.
Other hotels that caught our eye for a repeat visit were Wynn and Cosmo.

Oscar - 5 month old Staffie on the left
Isaac - 3 year old Patterdale on the right
Both great dogs!
Depending on the watch, I would. a simple "where did you get your watch?" or "how long have you had the watch?" normally sparks a conversation.
not bad at all.
fantastic collection. spend the money wisely once you get them all sold!
perhaps another watch?
This^
Thanks for all the compliments.
Liking it the more I wear it. I have been referred to as having 'ape' wrists so I wasn't ever concerned about the size, more about how it wears. It's...
I feel a "Dog Pictures" thread coming on.....
