Woops, already posted. :(
How does this happen? I've had no ill effects so far.
How about you just take a pair of pliers and cut off the metal rings on the NATO? Cut the end of the rings, and you can pull them out. You can also cut off the understrap section like aliasrichmond...
Does anyone on here own one? Then please post pictures, would be nice to see some photos. :thumbright:
Looks great on the wrist! Does it have a ceramic bezel, or just a shiny finish?
Thanks for the great answers guys!
Well, I went to the shop after reading up one your answers. Looking at the watch again, I saw that the case was scratched too, not just the hesalite. I pointed...
Im considering a Speedy Pro from a local AD. He's got only one of them left, and it's an exhibition model, so it has some scratches on the glass. I was told that i could expext some discount because...
I cannot believe I missed those pics. Looks great IMHO.
And a California Dial would also be nice...
Second that! The white dial looks stunning with the polished case.
Same here...

Me too....
I'm turning 30 this July. :faroah:
What to buy? :study:
Could we have a few more pics? Might look good on a Seiko Sumo.
You mean that you would literally boil the strap? Please explain.
Love it! :thumbright:
Very nice! Can anyone shed some light on the Orient Star brand? Can't say I've heard much about it.
Just slap it on a NATO, and you'll be fine! :bigsmurf:
I think the purple one looks smashing. What kind of coating is it? PVD?
Do you have contact details for yobokie?
Bry does a damn good job fitting these sapphires and pressure testing the watch after fitment.
As Ventura stated above, Noah and Yobokies supply's the sapphire for the Sumo. I know yobokies...
Nice to know there are good guys on the bay too. I'm waiting for a razor I bought there, hope it turns out all right.
Does anyone here know where I can source a replacement sapphire crystal for my Seiko Sumo? Are there several sources, and can you choose between various crystals (AR/non-AR, domed/flat)?
When a...
There's one for sale on timezone. I just spotted it, I haven't got anything to do with the sale. Link here.
I like the "extra bit"

:D
I like the extra bit too, and the extra "bit"/hardware make it look that...
I'd say about 800. I'll PM my address.
So I wasn't that far away, amazingly. Think I'll award myself another beer. :)
Good call! :thumbright: I'll drink a beer on your behalf.
Thanks guys! Nice to know nothing's wrong.
I've done this too with success. When a NATO starts too look old and frayed, this method can give it a "facelift". :P
