I have a Seiko solar diver Chrono which has stopped working. I put it on a window sill hoping to charge the battery, where it’s been for about a week but it’s still kaput.
Casio and Citizens...
It maybe a long shot but if there’s anyone close to Norwich that could purchase something (small) in Jarrold’s and post it on to me I’d be very grateful.
It’s an in store only purchased (no mail...
Picked up a lovely Tudor BB58 today and noticed it has a new style of warranty card without the dealers name or customer name on.
Haven’t seen mention of these before, they must be a new thing?...
I know it’s unlikely but hypothetically if one was offered a new steel Submariner from today onwards, would it automatically be the new model, or might the old ones still be shipped to ADs?

Any have any experience of removing bracelet links from a new Aquaracer?
Looks like standard push out pins but took it to a watch guy this afternoon who said it needed a special Tag tool that...

I ordered one before I posted the link. Will report back on any QC shenanigans when it gets here after the bank holiday.
Seemed a great price to me. A brand new watch with full warranty for the...
That is the first CW watch that has appealed to me. I like it.
Just spotted that Francis & Gaye have the latest Marinemaster SLA023J1 for £2,100 from £2,800
Two in stock at time of posting.

I think I’ve decided not to go for it, but playing devils advocate, and apologies if a simple question but wouldn’t any issues arising from the shelf life (or not) of lubricants be picked up under...
The more I think about it, I think you’re right. Wasn’t there a member on here that could get people Omegas at hefty discounts a while ago? Anyone know if this is still possible?

I like the size as it’s a sensible 42mm rather than the current size but they won’t budge on price, so I feel it unlikely that they’ll agree to a free service. The full warranty is appealing as is...
It’s a planet ocean. Cal 8500. Which was from 2011-2016 I think. The discount from the price when it was new is about 25% but compared to a current model (£5.2k) it’s about 40% less.

I’ve been looking at some Omegas and have found one that’s being sold as new but is at least four years old if not more. The price is good, about 40% less than a new current model. It’s a little shop...
Very unlikely I know, but if anyone comes across an AD with a new no date Sub tucked away I’d be super grateful for a PM. I’m on the list with my local one but impatient.

Pretty sure this is the only two register chronograph I’ve ever had:

I have a few ‘fixer upper’ watches, some vintage watch spares (lots of vintage dials) and some other assorted straps, Rolex translation booklet etc that I’d like to sell as a job with the proceeds...
I just had to order a link for my newish Exp 2 bracelet so that I could wear it comfortably. Cost £41 something and had to be shipped from Geneva, or so they said.

Those are a couple of beauties thanks for posting. The Gran Sport has a bracelet and looks like lumed hands too - very nice.

I believe that back in the day when Tudor was not sold in the U.K. It was possible to special order Tudor watches through Rolex dealers.
So there’s a sort of a precedent for this.

Just noticed on the TKM website a Mido Baroncelli (I think) 7750 auto chrono for £480, and some Wenger Swiss made quartzes with sapphire from under £40, if anyone needs a cheap sapphire glass beater....
