Very thin soles too. I would be surprised if they lasted long in real use. Perfect for use in the office on carpets though. :-)

Re Trickers, from where that photo was taken it is a residents only controlled parking street! I was nearly ticketed last time I visited. Factory shop parking is round the back, as is the shop itself.
Anything below £200 retail is unlikely to be genuinely made in UK. There is then a bit of a jump to £350 plus for genuine made in UK shoes. I have to say though that I do have a pair of 'Handcrafted...
There is a Crockett & Jones shop in Birmingham next to the cathedral in the centre. Shoes start at around £320. If that is too much, Loake Chesters shown already in this thread are around £200,...

Yes, I have a pair. Very nice and exactly what I expected but a little wide and chunky. If you are after something a little slimmer looking, Loake also do the Burford which is just a different shape...
