I've just bought some of these 'John Lewis & Co' boots...from John Lewis, obviously. They're made by Barker and are their Butcher boots but with the Itshide rubber sole.

My cheap and cheerful M&S work shoes do that..about 3-4mm at the front when heel pressed hard....my Charles Tyrwhitt brogues most certainly don't.

I bought a pair of these, 'Paddington' brogues from Charles Tyrwhitt, super comfy...£129 unless you are very unlucky to buy them in the two weeks a year they go for £260 :icon_biggrin:
