Just out of interest,when is the current fundraiser period finishing,and the next one with the new charities starting?
I'm not sure that the idea is to pressure people into donating just because others think they should.Anyway,as i understand it,you have an option whether or not to display your name on the donations...

People will only donate to charities they 'like' so there is a better chance of maximum participation if there is a degree of selection....
As Gray said,there will be a variety of preferences as to which charity(s) to donate. My preferences would be the NSPCC,Hampshire Air Ambulance,Macmillan,Dreamflight plus selected small local...
Good idea if the logistics can be sorted.
Also,how would the chosen recipients be chosen?
