tbh I thought that initially but I've also recently started re-reading the book and I now appreciate how poor the series is wrt to novel. In fact I got half way through episode 3 and gave in. To be...
and also, Netflix, the new Breaking Bad film :-)
F1: Drive to Survive
On netflix.... VERY interesting and just shows that F1 really is a mockery... Yes the drivers are brilliant but at the end of the day the team with the most money wins :-(
I watched the first episode of The Little Drummer Girl from the beeb.
I know it's got some good reviews but, tbh, I didn't think it was brilliant. Perhaps I was thinking it would be another Tinker...
Cheers :-)
Thanks for the heads up.
As a prelude to the new season I re-watched the previous 1-3 seasons and, tbh, I think season 4 has slipped a little. Still the best thing on the box at the moment though.
Now onto ep. 3 of 'The Break'.... Belgium (thought it was French at first - languages not my thing). IMHO better than Frozen Dead. Worth a try as well.
Just gone through both of those.... a French take on 'Scandinavian noir'. Generally a lot more guns involved and more beating up the suspects in the froggy offerings but not bad. Certainly a lot...
I think you would struggle to beat the original film in german... Watched it too many times now but it really is excellent.
God!! How will the 'smart phone' generation cope? i.e. they won't.
I assume you mean the original 1990s version with Ian Richardson. Superb.
After reading the books I'm afraid the series is pretty poor with half the detail and story line trashed (so often the case when turning a book into a film). I really struggled with 3 or 4 episodes...
