I decided to read The Shining again and am now reading Doctor Sleep. I am enjoying it so far.

The Charlie Parker books are ok, though I found the Book of Lost Things to be on another level and much better. That and his book of short stories.

Just started The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie and enjoying it so far. A good gritty fantasy in the Game of Thrones style.

Just finished Anno Dracula also and found it pretty entertaining.

I'm currently working my way through The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey and enjoying it so far.

Good choice, I've just read Caitlin Moran's How to be a Woman which just sounds so wrong for a bloke to read but I enjoyed it and would recommend.

When not revising at the moment I've started reading Alone in Berlin by Hans Fallada. It's very good so far.
