According to the museum it was destroyed/abandoned in the German Peasant War, sometime in the 16th century. I'm afraid it's a war I hadn't heard of before my visit to the abbey but it appears to have...
Very good! It's the derelict church at Walkenried abbey in the German Harz. The monastery itself is still intact and now a small museum that's well worth a visit.
Afraid not. Maybe a view from the front will make it a bit easier:

Yes she has been for a while now, since the museum reopened. It was my first visit to the new museum and nice as it was, it wasn't as awe inspiring as the old museum. Have you been there?
Assuming you're referring to my picture: well done, it is indeed!

:applause:
It is a fascinating museum. My favourite item was an application letter by Albert Einstein to Leiden University from 1901, with the self addressed reply card still attached. Apparently...
It is not.
I'm impressed, that's absolutely correct. Have you been there? If so, you should be able to recall what's in my other picture.
Yes it is. Well done.
You mean L'Envol des Pionniers in Toulouse? You're clearly out of shape... :tongue-new:
Thanks!
Nope. To be fair it's only one part of a much larger machine, so may not be an easy one.
The first picture is unrelated by the way, but I'm guessing you already spotted what that is.
This may be a difficult one for most of you, so if you can't pinpoint where it is, you may have a guess what we're looking at.
