The reference is on the case back photograph, so 2625-0010.
The dimensions are 34mm across the case excluding the crown and crown protectors, 17mm lugs, 36mm lug to lug and 10.5mm thick.
It's...
You must have some eyesight. It does indeed have non flat topped A's in the word JAPAN at the low perimeter of the dial between 6 and 7.
Can you show me the examples of the flat topped A's on a...
That sounds about right in most cases.
It's a great looking watch and the Seiko built quality back then was spot on with these small cased Seiko Divers watches.
I bought this via SC last...

So do I but why are Seiko not marking their dials these days with their model names like Landmaster and Marinemaster (on an actual 300m Marinemaster of course) as they are failing their customers and...
I've been working on this January 1981 Tuna 7549 for the Japanese home market. An absolute necessity was a rather rare NOS crystal and I gave it the lightest of case refinishes to show off that...
I loathe Diashield myself.
I have (finally) refinished an entire Diashield case so it can be refinished, but it's hard work and it takes a lot of patience.
The 039 does have ever brilliant steel but no Diashield.
Regarding the Zaratsu, please explain your thoughts on it?
What put you off the Zaratsu polishing?
A trio of divers. SLA021, SLA039 and an SBBN045. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20231117/c38f2c6788e3daa09b4a51d4460588b5.jpg
