Thanks for all the replies, in the end I went for the Seiko SKX013.

It accompanied me on my holiday and did all it needed to do. Worn 24 hours a day, visited the pool and beach. I think for now...

Thanks for all of the other suggestions, I have looked at the Seamaster and also looked at the Christopher Ward c60 but I’m still not sure so will continue to see what’s about.

See I have owned an SKX009 and did like it but didn’t like the size, I do like the SKX013 but I wasn’t sure if at 38mm it might wear small. I think buying this and keeping the extra in the bank...

I do like the Steinhart so I will have a look in more detail.
