My wife happened to be in London last week, popped into the Covent Garden store around lunchtime and they only had the Sun and Uranus models left. Both too garish for me.
That is a beaut, and what seems like a good deal. I have been really tempted to look at adding a Doxa to my collection.
I can hear those watch cases grinding together from here [emoji51]

It is a lovely watch for the price to be fair. Though my wife has been handed down a vintage Grand Seiko, and the difference in quality between the KS and GS is noticeable.

Ah nice one!
I managed to snap up a bargain King Seiko earlier in the year for £190 on eBay. Runs pretty well to be fair. Though the winding feels a bit gritty so could definitely also do with a...
Love a vintage Seiko and the really interesting and meandering history of the various different models, factories, etc. I find the same with vintage Fender and Squier guitars.
Where did you...

Really speedy turnaround, absolutely brilliant service and communication/updates, and the watch has...

Looks really nice. My only criticism is that when I saw Dan Henry watches in person they looked very Cheap. Some very nice to designs though.

Thanks for all of the advice and guidance.
I’d definitely love that, thank you. I’ll drop you a message.
I have been looking at the various courses. And I think the BHI one isn’t actually too...
Thanks very much for this. I used this approach and managed to get the pallet fork to engage. Confirmed it by giving the mainspring a bit of a wind and lightly touching the pallet fork to make sure...
Thanks very much! I’ve purchased Moebius 9010 and 9104, as they seemed to be the general consensus for what most use for servicing Seikos.
I haven’t seen anyone mention epilame when working with...
Oh drat! I wonder how many they made, and whether you might be able to find a pre owned one soon.
I have the same feeling. That is until I get the first scratch or ding. After the initial annoyance I feel much better about wearing it to its fullest as any additional scrapes and bumps I know are...
I can’t say that I’ve heard of them, but looking like that, at that price, I can see why it sold out so quickly!

There’s a company in Australia that do, but they’re about £40.
I’ve stumbled across a forum post where someone has fabricated their own replacement using a piece of brass and some files.

That domed crystal is gorgeous!
I guess you guys just have very valuable watch collections then!
My home contents insurance covers me specifically for each of my most expensive watches, and I only pay a couple of hundred a year.
