Go for it - that’s a fair trek - had the TA for a couple of days and enjoyed it - seat was much more comfortable than my T7

The issue is you had it collected - the postman won’t get back to the office till maybe at least 3pm - to late to connect with the outgoing mail
Take it to the post office pre LAT and you can claim...
