Rega Planar. Plenty of options at various prices with cartridge included. UK made + lifetime warranty. You’ll need a Phonostage too.
Nothing wrong with Rolex - robust + reliable but with output over a million a year just doesn’t attract me any more.
Swapped from Samsung (drove me nuts) to iPhone ‘cos I use an iPad too. Seamless integration + more user friendly especially for a non techie.
Could affect resale value if no outer box?
My new fancy

Nobody as I only wear decent watches under a cuff. For my eyes only…
I also use Subdial. One watch sold with a Polaris still listed. Charging 8% on 2nd watch which is very fair imo.
Wimborne Minster is pleasant. Within easy reach of Bournemouth and Poole, Shaftesbury, Dorchester etc. New Forest too…
Very useful. Many thanks
Where can I find reviews on what happened? Can’t find anything online or how much the Roger Smith fetched at auction.
I didn’t realise that the author of “hands of time” also had a working studio building bespoke watches in Birmingham. Anyone have one of their beauties? With prices starting around 48K maybe not but...
+1. I de-listed last month when I received a call offering me the watch I’d put my name down for 18 months previously. Lost interest basically.
If you can find this elsewhere I’ll eat my watch strap.

Well I only buy new, have two Grand Seikos and am thinking of getting a third so GS isn’t quite dead as far as I’m concerned. Have made a few mistakes so sold on at a loss but not bothered. Thing is...
Great place to visit and the lodges are very westernised - no food issues. I’d advise a tailor made self drive with pre booked accommodation. Two weeks with a 4 wheel hire. Plenty of options as...
Tending towards the hi beat although research hints at accuracy issues with the 80hrs movement.
The hi beat about 3K extra
On the left: hi beat 80hrs
On the right: spring drive 3 day.

I have the Skyflake (pale blue) version. Superb watch. One of my favourites.
My tuppence worth. Just wish the bracelet matched the dial for quality.

Zen swapped me over to voip a few months ago. The landline costs £6/month for free calls. Prefer it to mobiles any day.
60 - 70 . Increasing depression.
No complications here, other than figuring out the time.

Surprised to find a standard GS clasp on such a prestigious timepiece. Hopefully different on their megabucks versions.
