Seconded, watched it with the wife over the last couple of nights, haven't had that many laughs from a series in years.

The Serpent definitely gets better after a couple of episodes, the first are a bit slow but worth it as they build the story really well.

series first, too much goes on that you might have spoilt by the film to start at the end.

Barry on sky Atlantic is worth a watch, former hitman tries to become an actor.

It's a black comedy, dark in parts, violent and sweary.

If I'd not watched episode 1 I'd wait till it finished but I don't think I can wait 3 weeks for it now.

The climax to ep2 was quite something, drama at its finest.

Yeah it's not for everyone, I don't know how you watched them but binging might help, 3 or 4 in one go might get you into it.

Me too, it's a series that flies a bit under the radar being as old as it is but it still looks great and has some of the best characters and dialogue going.

Not new but I've been rewatching deadwood on sky in preparation for the film being released.

Magnificent series!

I'm quite liking it too but the sound mix seems odd, having to crank the volume to catch the dialogue.
