So I've been conversing with the seller and he admits that perhaps it was replaced....shame as everything else looks spot on.
It is a 2004 F serial.
And yes, I meant the coronet on the glass not the dial!
Hello folks,
I hope you're all keeping as well as can be in these challenging times. Quick question - I have my eye on a 2004 Rolex Submariner 14060M 2-Liner but the seller tells me that there is...
Amazing watch and photos!
Hi everyone, I’m conscious of the heartache and despair out there because of coronavirus and was in two minds about writing this. On balance I felt I’d put it out there while things are fresh in my...
That is a beaut.
very cool!
Cheers
Great pic! Unfortunately the watch I have my eye on does not come with the rocket. Is that the original rocket that came with the watch? And how tall is it please?
I love the back story and whilst the Speedmaster is an iconic watch, they do appear a little 'samey' (to me), the Tintin adds a little flair
Thanks Steve, nice site.
If only I needed one!
Incredible story, you’re very lucky to now be doing something you’re passionate about. Enjoy!
Thanks Phil, hopefully the value continues to rise if I buy one!
Thanks Andy, it really is glorious

I bought a couple of Rolexes over the years from FH Kingston (the last time being in 2011). Recently I tried to get on the wait list for SS Prof models but got nowhere even when I explained that my...
Looks amazing, thanks for sharing photos. I have a feeling I will love it!
So I need to go in, try it on, and negotiate the hell out of the deal!......thanks for replying. Definitely looking to hold on to whatever I buy watch-wise from now on so yup, if it looks and feels...
Alas I can't stretch the budget for this particular piece.......
Its great to know you tried one on and liked it. The smaller size of it appeals to me. My Tudor GMT is a proper chunky monkey on my slender wrists!
Very true!
Thanks for your feedback. You make a good point! But there are so many great pieces out there and whilest I'm not looking to flip, I also would prefer not to lose any money on it!
Many thanks for your response. I'm fortunate in that I have it reserved at a watch shop in Heathrow so the purchase price will be a little less than RRP (basically divided by 1.2).
