Sadly very true
About 11 km up-river from the falls but close enough! I used to work in Zim and Zam so going back to see it was a trip down memory lane, yes the beer is good, and much improved

I have only had two noticed.
Once in a dental chair about fifteen years ago while wearing a 46mm Glycine Airman, the dental nurse said "oh my god that's huge" which gave the dentist a fit of...
I have used Russell Talerman a few times, always had good service, they aren't averse to walk-in's either in my experience.
Mk4.5 because it is the only one I have at present! Perfect chronograph

Looks like a Felsa 692 I think
Rusty the K was also used in the 1950's which is consistent with the Felsa movement
Hard to say from your pictures but the movement looks like a Felsa 692 which were in common throughout the late 40's through 1950's
Dennison was the watch case maker and the not a hallmark expert...

In my opinion the 16710 GMT-Master II would be easier to sell as it would have a wider customer base, the 16750 will have smaller customer base but will appreciate faster. Which one would I buy? The...
Very sad news, I visited Paul a couple of times and despite his terrible disability he was always cheerful and had a great sense of humour. He fought his condition with great bravery and fortitude...
If you have fixed bars they are great, if you are using them with spring bars I find them to be a nuisance and never have confidence they won't dislodge the bar.
The GMT Doxa looks really cool, well done.
One of the biggest if not the biggest disappointment of any watch I have bought. It should have been great but they ruined it with some very fundamental errors. The taper on the bracelet left it...
I have not come across a SPECIAL with a 17 jewel AS1903 movement before, I got the movement chronology from the recently retired Werner Siegrist (45 years running the Glycine Service Centre in the...
