Very well said. All the best to the OP.

I've just driven an AMG GT63s (1st Edition) for the first time. It is surprisingly easy to drive pootling round town in comfort mode and is very civilised. Floor it in sport+ and it is brutally fast....
I went the other way during Covid too. I went from 2 nice 'best' watches to 5 mainly because I actually had time to wear and enjoy them.
Some of the highest priced Rolex models currently are sub 40mm vintage Submariners and Daytonas. I often wonder if they will be perceived to be too small in years to come and go the way of the...
Mine's definitely mostly stress related and was on my fingers. When I left a job I hated and became self employed it all but disappeared. If I do get it nowadays it's very mild and always during...
I suffer from it very intermittently. When it's bad only prescription only hydrocortisone cream really does the job. The next best over the counter option is cetraben cream imo. Available in Boots etc
Entry level Grand Seiko 9F quartz and current Omega SMP300M.
This too
Even after all these years, 'Mad Max 2 - The Road Warrior' is my favourite action film. It's so tight and blasts along. Love it!
Very very nice. I've had my eye on the steel with silver dial / blue details but this is on another level. Enjoy it!
Thanks. It's stunning. I can't find it in the current Zenith line up so assume it's discontinued?
Absolutely love this! Presume it's the 38mm?
Looks good and is one of the few watches that looks better on leather than on bracelet. The case diameter doesn't worry me but, as with most chronographs, the case height does.
Steve McQueen's 'Widows' is superb. Available on Prime now.
Happy New Year!

Congrats, looks great! I quite fancy the white dial with blue indices...
It's amazing how my 37mm Grand Seiko feels really small at first but after a day or so it's the perfect size. It works the other way too, most noticeably with my 40mm MarkXVIII.
Indeed. The closest you'll get is black outside with yellow inside. I have it on my DS30. The silicone elite is very good value.
Excuse the crap pic but here's my SOTC at year end. I'm going to do my best not to add to it next year. It's likely the Damasko and Timex will get moved on at some point as they are not getting...
My immediate thoughts fall to two of the watches that I currently own.
For a mechanical every day watch for under £1k look at the Damasko DS30. They are 39mm and also very thin so not at all...
Having read some of the comments on this thread I I am inclined to start doing this too. I usually do a full wind (40 plus quick turns) at the start of a new wearing cycle. I imagine that time...
Good on them but I can't say I'm desperate to upgrade. I have an ETA powered DS30 and timing is exceptional. Last wearing cycle it averaged -0.9 secs per day.
Indeed. The older SBGX 0** series with the Seiko branding turn up on SC now and again for a grand or so. I managed to get a near mint box and papers 061 from 2014 for less than £1k.
