"Heeeeelllloooo, and walecum to just one more watch!"
They look quite nice, Grand Seiko vibes.
Interesting read. Perezcope must a be a right headache for these auction houses!
His knowledge is immense, obsessive perhaps. He notices things that, to be fair are so minute and/or obscure that you...

They look like they've been 3d printed. It's a nope from me.
Powells, also on Eastgate street do pre-owned and vintage. I'm sure there's plenty of others. Chester is wonderful for mooching about, so you're bound to find some hidden gems down the side streets.
As you say Miltons is a good shout. There's also Boodles if you fancy checking out some Patek goodies, it's at the front of the Grosvenor shopping center.
Aside from that you have Mappin and Webb...
Not a fan of the new stuff. I suppose it’s got us all talking about the brand, but yeah, they’re all a bit “home shopping” or kickstarter for my liking.
Considering what company’s like Farer, or...
I recently moved on a couple of pieces that weren't getting worn as often as they really should. The plan was to pick up something that would get wrist time, something from Tudor perhaps, maybe IWC....
Oh yeah, just noticed that! In that case get down to WoW at the earliest opportunity.
Watches of Whitby are a good shout, excellent service from them. And a lovely shop to browse if you’re in that neck of the woods.
Dildo pink is going to be the new Tiffany blue isn’t it?
Could it be cross threaded? Though you’d need to be giving it some serious welly to get it to seize completely. My only tip would be to take it to the AD before getting the angle grinder out.
There’s been some cracking looking IWC content on here today. This included.
Chances of these being available to mere mortals are slim to infinitesimally small I imagine. Certainly in the short term. It's nice though, and yes it is being released very soon as per their...

Zealande do one though they state it's for the 3861. Might be worth dropping them a message to see if it'll fit.
So it's his fault!
Mayer is a narcissist. Some of the watches on display were nice though. I liked the twenty minutes they spent hawking the yellow GShock to us filthy poors, classy stuff....
Agreed.
Do you want a Radiomir, Submersible, Luminor? Mechanical, Auto?
There's such a huge variety as you say, so it's hard to recommend without knowing what sort of model interests you. Also,...
Lovely stuff.
I presume a regular spring bar wouldn’t need tubes as they can’t come unscrewed. The purpose of the tube is to stop friction from the strap unscrewing the bars. I’m sure it can’t hurt to use them...
If your PAM has screw in spring bars then you should use tubes in all your straps. Simply swap them over each time. You can buy replacements cheaply from eBay, Toshi, etc too.
PAM590. Have a great weekend.

Riding the back of the success/hype of the Moonswatch I think this will sell a boat load, plus it’ll increase brand awareness on both sides. It has a better chance of introducing WhiteBread to a new...
The screws are an exercise in patience. I learnt a lot about myself when resizing mine. Along with a few new curse words and how to hold my breath like a saturation diver. Tiny things indeed.
I finally managed to pick up one of those fancy MoonSwatches everyone's banging on about.
They only had the stainless steel version though.
Still, pretty happy with it all told.
