BQ tried to sell me an Oysterflex Daytona in YG with black diamond dial for £70k as it was POA. Prestigious Jewellers in Leeds advertised the same watch on the same day for £50k!
I'd steer well...
I tried on an AP 26168SR Pride of China at the London Watch Show and feel in love straight away! I've always said I'd never wear a bi-metal until I saw that in the flesh
4100 is 36mm right?
Watchcollecting.com are quite good from a sellers perspective. No seller fees, you can set a reserve
Another option would be to consign the watch to a vintage specialist if you aren't in a rush...
I've done business with them twice now and would highly recommend them.
Still in stock at Blowers 7 weeks later!!
I've seen a 7900V silver dial at £29.5 but don't know if that's fairly priced or overpriced given the current lack of availability. Certainly better...
Purple - Nas
Haha, good way to put it!
Agree with the comments re. British Gas, i am still disputing a £1.5k bill for a commercial premises and its been going on for 3 months!
I've never bought from or sold to Cazoo but each time I went to get a quote from them to sell my car, it was always higher than WBAC. They also offer a fixed price with no haggling, as long as the...
I feel like it's a really unnecessary additional to AP Royal Oaks such as 15300ST, they would look so much cleaner and neater with the removal of the "AUTOMATIC" above the 6 o clock hour marker
I don't have enough faith in ebay to fully inspect and authenticate the movement of any high value watch. I'm sure there have been a couple of cases where the customer received a frankenwatch
ALB jewellers are legit, I know a couple of people that have purchased from them
I took my dad's Rado to get a quote for a service, even they had a 12 week turnaround time!
Haha, love this!
I made the mistake of arranging for the service via the AD instead of taking it to RSC directly!
Also can I just say, that is a very cool watch for your mum to own!
Shady behaviour with the sudden increase in price! I wish dealers would honour the prices shown on their websites...
Not sure if this is allowed on this forum but if you want to sell your 16610 to...
I've got a black dial 116520 that's been with Rolex since 8th December! Still no idea when I'll get it back.
Cost was £680 for full service and £186 for new bezel
My perfect watch was my AP Triple Calendar 25807ST. The 38mm case was a perfect size, it had a decent weight, the functionality was so useful, I.e. day, date, month + time. Really regret selling it...
I've noticed the same, watches in Germany do seem to be cheaper but the ones in France seem to be similar priced to UK.
I've seen a lovely AP 15300ST on their site, debating whether to make them...
I wear a 116520 as a daily, tried on a stainless steel Sky Dweller and found it a lot chunkier and heavier on the wrist. The blue dial on the Sky Dweller is really nice, just wish it was a bit...
I've bought a watch from them and the transaction went very smoothly, would happily recommend them
I went on the Saturday, didn't feel entirely comfortable standing on Park Lane for 10 minutes with several watches in my possession
The show was well organised, agree with the comments regarding...
I can confirm this is correct, they changed my insert and provided me with a jubilee bracelet for mu 16710 on the spot while I waited
Hearing stories like this makes me reluctant to walk around London with any Rolex, even my relatively discrete 2002 Sea Dweller!
