Right now though it’s the Street Triple R that they have to beat.
So I’ve tried the KTM Duke 790, and have test rides set up for the Ducati Scrambler and Monster at the weekend.
Just had a quick ride on a Street Triple R though and wow! Didn’t think I would like...
Interesting feedback. Thanks. Did 2 days of training last weekend on a KTM Duke 790. Really great bike, but I felt slightly pitched forward. I think riding position will be a really important factor...
Thanks Tony. I am looking at Ducati Scrambler Full throttle and the Monster 821. However having read this thread I am going to try a Striple R next week first 😂
What a fantastic thread! Passed my Mod 1 and 2 on Monday. About to start the daunting choice of first proper bike so the debate and experiences are very valuable. Still don’t know what I want!!
